The Challenger would not be possible without volunteers!
If you would like to be a part of this amazing event, there are a number of opportunities to get involved from Saturday, September 22 – Sunday, September 30.
Off-Court Volunteers
This will be a unique and fun chance to experience the tournament first-hand. Get your friends to join and make it social.
Off-Court volunteer positions include:
- Checking players in at the tournament desk
- Assisting ball people and tournament officials at the upper volunteer station
- Assisting as ushers, crowd control and hospitality during finals weekend
Review the full volunteer schedule here and select the time and task you would like to cover.
On-Court Volunteers
If you’d like to be able to say that you were “on-court at the Tiburon Challenger” then ball person may be the perfect volunteer position for you! Even the kids can get in on it – youth aged 9+ can volunteer during the weekend and after school as a ball person and will receive volunteer hours for school.
If this sounds like the perfect volunteer option for you, sign up soon!
You must attend one of the following training sessions if you have never volunteered on-court:
- Friday, September 14 at 3:30 pm: Adults/Kids
- Wednesday, September 19 at 12:00 pm: Adults only
- Friday, September 21 at 3:30 pm: Adults/Kids
Drivers
Hang out with some world-class tennis players as you cruise around town. Volunteer drivers are vital for transporting Challenger players to and from their tournament hotel in Corte Madera. We ask that drivers sign up for a half-day shift at a minimum (8:00 am – 1:00 pm or 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm).
All drivers will receive free admission to the tournament for the entire day that they are working and 2 general admission tickets to another day of their choice.
Requirements: You must be of legal driving age and able to transport a passenger.
