More great matches and upsets at the Challenger today. Qualifier Giron took out #3 seed Bradley Khlan with a tight 7-6, 7-6 victory, while Langer took out Smith 7-5, 7-5. Tim Smyczek and 18 year old Donaldson had a tough three set battle, with a lot of emotion from the new up and coming American. Tim pulled it out after coming back from a 4-0 deficit in both the second and third sets, earning a 2-6, 7-6, 7-5 victory into the Quarterfinals. Donaldson showed his talent though, and the spectators got a glimpse of what is to come with American tennis.
