Jack Sock captured the FIRST REPUBLIC BANK TIBURON CHALLENGER with a three set win over Mischa Zverev, 6-1, 1-6, 7-6 (3). Sock displayed big forehands to offset the crafty volleying exhibited by Zverev. With his court coverage this afternoon, he showed no signs of the injured ankle sustained in yesterday’s semi final match with Steve Johnson. Zverev reached the finals last week in Sacramento and had two match points in the third set prior to falling.
